Our content and copyright

The questions, fact sheets, reference cards, courses and other materials on AKT Revision were created by us and are the property of MRCGP Revision Limited. Please do not copy, reproduce or re-publish them without our express permission. We reserve the right to cancel a subscription and withdraw access where our work is being copied or reproduced for anything other than personal revision.

Independence from the RCGP

AKT Revision is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Royal College of General Practitioners. Our questions are original and are written to the exam’s published format and blueprint; any resemblance to a question that appears in the AKT itself is coincidental. Exam-format facts and pass marks quoted on this site come from the RCGP’s published reports.

No guarantee of exam success

While it may be obvious, we need to say it: subscribing to AKT Revision does not guarantee that you will pass your exam, and our readiness estimates are study aids, not predictions. We suggest using AKT Revision as one tool in your wider revision.

Educational use only

Medical information on this site is provided for exam revision and education. It is not intended for patients and must not be used to make decisions about patient care. We work to keep content aligned with current UK guidance, but guidance changes and we make no claim to total accuracy or completeness. Cookies and consent

We keep cookies to a minimum and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

Essential cookies (always on). These keep you signed in (authentication session cookies) and remember basic preferences on your device. Our payment provider, Stripe, may also set cookies during checkout for security and fraud prevention. Under UK PECR and the GDPR these strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the service cannot run without them.
Analytics (only with your consent). We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which pages help trainees most. It does not identify you and sets no tracking cookie, but we still ask before loading it. It runs only if you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner; choosing “Essential only” means it never loads.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the banner. We store your choice in your browser so we do not have to ask again on every visit.

Remember to cancel

Once you have finished using AKT Revision, cancel your subscription from your account page (or ask us and we will cancel it for you). Subscriptions do not cancel themselves after a period of time, and we cannot be responsible for reimbursing time you did not mean to buy because an account was left running.
