Our approach
What makes AKT Revision different
AKT Revision is not just a long list of questions. It is a learning engine, built to help you remember more in less time. Here is what makes it different and what is coming next.
It learns what you forget
Most banks show you a question once, then forget about it. We do not.
We use spaced repetition. Each question comes back just before you would forget it. Get it right, and the gap before you see it again grows. This is the most reliable way to move facts into long-term memory.
It catches what you only think you know
When you answer, you tell us how sure you are: Sure, Think so, or Guessing.
This matters more than it sounds. A lucky guess looks like a pass, but it is really a gap. A confident wrong answer is the most dangerous kind of all. We bring both back to you first, before they cost you marks in the exam.
It tells you where you really stand
Every question sits in one of five states: unseen, incorrect, learning, mastered, or decaying. You can see this for every topic. So you always know what is solid and what still needs work. No guessing about your own progress.
It turns wrong answers into learning
Get a question wrong, and we do two things:
- •We show you why your exact answer was wrong — not just the right answer, but the reason your choice was a trap.
- •We link the matching fact sheet, then bring the topic back a few days later.
A mistake becomes a lesson that sticks.
It measures you honestly
Our mocks match the real exam: 160 questions in 160 minutes.
Your readiness score is checked against the real published pass marks. We show our working and our sample sizes. We would rather be trusted than flattering.
AI help and fresh practice
One is available now, and one is still being built:
- •The AKT Tutor.A chat helper you can ask about any question or topic. It checks changing guidance against our reviewed revision material, corrects false premises and avoids unsupported clinical numbers. Stable medical explanations may also use the model’s general knowledge.
- •Fresh question versions. New, disguised versions of questions you got wrong, so you can practise the same knowledge again without seeing the exact same card. Plus fresher mocks that do not repeat questions you have already met.
All of it is built by the team behind SCA Revision, the UK’s most-used SCA platform. Same care, pointed at the AKT. To put it to work, see how to revise for the AKT.
